Shoots are connected ideas; the beginning of something new

Shoot posts are mini-research projects; they are intersections where my inquiries and research begin to gather and interact. These are where I connect various sprouting ideas until it becomes a growing study.

FAQs about Shoots

What is a shoot in my garden?
A shoot is a collection of multiple sprouts together that expand or strengthen into a bundle.
How do I decide what is worth adding as a shoot?
As soon as I recognize two sprouts that are somehow related, they connect as a shoot. Ideally, overtime the shoot will grow and expand.
How do shoot in my digital garden compare to the Zettelkasten method?
Rather than having cards that are physically next to each other, my shoots use links to build up a bundle. But the idea is the same.

Shoots are kinda like mood boards, but for ideas.
