Being a maker is about collaborating with reality
To be a “maker” isn’t a grand statement. According to Maria Bowler, we are makers when we “collaborate with reality” and respond “to life from our true being, instead of merely doing.” It’s about recognizing that life is not just accomplishing a task list, but about being here, about being in relationship with the reality that we live in.
